Learning about your local union is one of your most important negotiated rights as a union member. Every collective agreement has language to support a new member’s orientation to their own local and to HEU itself.
HEU is offering a one-day new member orientation workshop to support locals setting up and deliver union orientation (induction) sessions to all new members.
We invite any member who has been designated by their local to conduct orientation or ‘induction’ sessions to apply and attend this workshop. You will need to provide endorsement from your local executive to support your application.
